Hello TEXAS

Well it's official.  We have moved to Texas.  About 2 months ago, Ryan accepted a job offer from Chevron Phillips located in Kingwood, Texas, a northeast suburb of Houston.  And since then, it has been a whirlwind of change for our family.  We took a week long trip down to Kingwood in May to do some house hunting and then made the move on May 30th.  It was a quick move as Ryan started his job on June 1st.   At Chevron Phillips, he is working as a chemical engineer doing research and has really enjoyed his first few weeks.

Because it was such a quick move, we have been living in an extended stay hotel for the time being.  We have purchased a house down in Kingwood, however it is contingent on the sale of our house back in Iowa.  Our house has been listed for a few weeks and has had several showings.  We are hopeful that we will sell soon!  Soren and I are excited to get a little more space during the day!

As for Soren, he has been growing so much lately.  I can't believe he is already 4 months next week.  He is babbling a lot and loves to tell his stories.  He loves to wiggle and is a very active little guy.  He loves to stand on top of the fridge and play games with Daddy.  We are so blessed to have such a good little guy.  Below are some pictures of us leaving Iowa and Soren.  Enjoy!
