The Snells: Our latest happenings

The last few weeks have been busy here in Saudi! We finally got our sea shipment on April 25th. It was a glorious sight to see all our stuff arrive at our house! To think that it spent 8 weeks on a boat in the ocean is a little strange, but I was so glad to see that it made it! The following week was busy full of unpacking and organizing. The kids felt like it was Christmas to have all their toys again! They were so excited to help unpack the boxes and couldn't wait to play with their things again! After a week of unpacking, the final box was put by the trash. We have been working on getting pictures on the wall and everyday this feels more and more like home. Below are some pictures of our home!!

Another exciting part of the past few weeks is our little Elsa is all back to normal! We went back to the doctor 2 weeks after she broke her arm to see how it was doing. They took the cast off, which was probably the scariest part of it all, and then x-rayed her arm. The doctor said everything looked great and so she is now cast free!! She was very excited to have her arm back!

Kjerstin has been changing so much! She is scooting around now and trying to crawl. She got up on her hands and knees the other day, and was just so proud of herself! It's hard to believe that she is already 6 months old! She is just the happiest baby and has been so much fun to watch her grow.

Soren is still enjoying school. He has been playing basketball these past few weeks and really enjoying that. He has grown so much since we have been here. He is growing out of the toddler stage and is really turning into a little boy.

It's hard to believe that we are coming up on 3 months here in Saudi. Time has gone by so fast and we are loving our life here. It is crazy to think that in just 2 weeks we will be heading back to the US for our summer break. Enjoy the pictures!!
